I am not a real estate agent, but I have been looking for a home for a while and I have discovered one thing. Most of the photos in the listings are very low quality and poorly done to the point that they do not do the homes justice. They were taken on a phone with no composition. Is this because of cost or are they going for that amateur look? I asked my realtor why his brokerage doesn't hire professionals to take photos and he said it's because it's expensive. I haven't researched this, but I would expect a listing with quality photos to get more clicks than one without them.

When it comes to real estate listings, photography can really make or break interest from potential buyers. Little details really do shape how professional and appealing a listing looks.
